MM7 (E) – REQUEST FOR THE RECORDING OF A RENUNCIATION. This is a World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) form used by trademark holders to renounce protection of an international registration in one or more designated Contracting Parties under the Madrid System. The form allows a holder to maintain the international registration while relinquishing rights in selected jurisdictions. Applicants must identify the affected international registration number(s), provide holder and representative information, and specify the designated Contracting Parties for which protection is being renounced. It may be used for multiple international registrations owned by the same holder when the same designated Contracting Parties are involved.
