Description
ALTERNATIVE DISPUTE RESOLUTION (ADR) ORDER. This is a New York Supreme Court form used to determine whether a civil case should participate in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) and to establish the ADR process when appropriate. The order allows the court to either find a case exempt from ADR or assign it to a specific ADR track, such as mediation, compulsory arbitration, neutral evaluation, settlement conferencing with a Judicial Hearing Officer, a summary jury trial, or another approved neutral process. The form also provides space to set ADR deadlines, allocate the neutral’s compensation, establish expedited discovery requirements, and schedule a status conference. It is issued by Hon. Robert J. Muller and helps guide case management and settlement efforts while ensuring compliance with related court scheduling orders. www.FormsWorkflow.com
