CLETS-002 - CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT—CRIMINAL.This form is used to provide protected-person and defendant information for entry into the California Law Enforcement Telecommunications System (CLETS) when a criminal protective order is sought. The prosecuting agency completes required sections and submits the form with the appropriate criminal protective order request (such as CR-160 or CR-161). The form collects identifying information for protected persons, details on additional protected individuals, and identifying data about the defendant, including physical descriptors, language needs, employer information, and whether they possess firearms or ammunition.
