VN230 - REQUEST FOR CONTINUANCE / OFF CALENDAR. This is a local form for family law matters to continue a hearing or take it off calendar. Parties can request changes for a Motion/RFO, MSC, or Trial/Evidentiary Hearing and provide a preferred new date/time. A $20 fee applies to each continued hearing and must be paid within 10 days of submission (or by the hearing date if continued fewer than 10 days). Motion/RFO/MSC requests must be submitted at least two court days before the currently set date; trial/evidentiary continuances require good cause if >30 days out or extraordinary circumstances if <30 days.
