MOTION TO CONTINUE TRIAL. This is a Nebraska Workers’ Compensation Court form used when a party (plaintiff or defendant) requests a postponement of a scheduled trial or hearing. The form identifies the case docket, current trial date, location, and judge, and requires the moving party to state reasons for the requested continuance. Supporting pages may be attached if additional explanation is needed. The packet also includes a Notice of Trial/Hearing, which informs parties when and how the motion will be heard, and a Certificate of Service, certifying that copies were provided to opposing parties by mail, fax, hand delivery, or email.
