Description
Form EOIR-29 - NOTICE OF APPEAL TO THE BOARD OF IMMIGRATION APPEALS FROM A DECISION OF A DHS OFFICER. This form is used when an individual wishes to challenge a decision made by a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) officer, such as the denial of a family-based visa petition (Form I-130 or Form I-360 Widow(er) petition), or other DHS determinations like carrier and fine decisions, waiver decisions, or certain bond decisions. It allows the appellant to notify DHS that they are appealing the decision to the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA). The form requires identifying information about the case, the petitioner or appellant, and the grounds for the appeal, and it must be filed with DHS (not directly with the BIA) within 30 calendar days of the DHS decision. The appellant may also indicate whether they will submit a supporting brief or request oral argument. www.FormsWorkflow.com
