Direct Payment Form

DIRECT PAYMENT FORM. This form from the Court of Common Pleas of Berks County, Domestic Relations Section, is used by a plaintiff to request that the Domestic Relations Section (DRS) credit the defendant for a child support, spousal support, or alimony pendente lite (APL) payment made directly to the plaintiff, rather than through the Pennsylvania State Collection and Disbursement Unit (PA SCDU) as required. The form requires the plaintiff to provide the amount of the direct payment and the reason it was made outside the official system. By signing the form, the plaintiff acknowledges understanding that direct payments are a violation of the court order, cannot be tracked by DRS, and that only one direct payment credit will be permitted after the support order is entered. Any further direct payments will not be credited or processed, and accepting such payments may result in case closure.
