SEARCH REQUEST FORM. This form from the Fort Bend County District Clerk's Office in Texas is used by individuals or organizations to request a formal records search for felony criminal cases and/or civil cases, including divorce records, within the jurisdiction of Fort Bend County. The form allows the requester to specify whether they are searching for felony criminal records (from 1982 to the present) or civil records (from 1991 to the present), and provides an option to request searches for earlier years if needed. For each name search, there is a $5.00 fee, and the form clearly states that the Clerk’s Office does not guarantee the completeness or accuracy of the search results and will not be held liable for any errors or omissions.
