Description
FORM ePC-E-1.Y - APPLICATION TO REOPEN ESTATE TO REPORT NEWLY DISCOVERED ASSETS. This form is used in the Franklin County Probate Court when an estate that has previously been closed must be reopened due to the discovery of additional assets belonging to the deceased. The applicant, typically an executor, administrator, or interested party, provides a description and value of the newly found property and may request that the court dispense with a formal appraisal. The form also allows the applicant to indicate whether an amended tax return is being filed, will be filed later, or is not necessary. The applicant requests that the court authorize distribution of the newly discovered assets according to the terms of the decedent’s will or, if there is no will, under Ohio’s statute of descent and distribution. www.FormsWorkflow.com
