Description
ORDER SETTING CASE MANAGEMENT CONFERENCE (JUDGE EDWARD NICHOLAS). This form is used by the Circuit Court of the Twelfth Judicial Circuit in and for Manatee County, Florida, to officially schedule a Case Management Conference (CMC) in a civil case. It serves to notify the parties and attorneys involved of the date, time, and Zoom credentials for the upcoming conference, which will be presided over by Judge Edward Nicholas. The purpose of the CMC is to discuss the status of the case and prepare it for trial. Attorneys are directed to confer and agree on a proposed trial period, then submit a Joint Stipulation for Trial Period and an Order Setting Case for Trial & Referral to Mediation to the Judge’s chambers at least three business days before the conference. If these documents are submitted on time, attorneys may be excused from attending the CMC. The order also instructs attorneys to review and comply with the court’s Case Management Protocol, which is available on the Twelfth Judicial Circuit’s website. www.FormsWorkflow.com
