RECORDS ACCESS REQUEST. This form is used to request access to records maintained by the NYC Landmarks Preservation Commission, which safeguards the city’s architectural, cultural, and historical heritage. Available materials include designation reports, photos, permits, violation records, archaeological reports, environmental reviews, and hearing tapes. Requests may be submitted by email or mail, and processing generally takes 2–4 weeks depending on scope.
