DC 19:1 - PROTECTION ORDER PRAECIPE. This form is used in Nebraska to request the court clerk to have the county sheriff personally serve a protection order, order to show cause, petition, or request for hearing upon the respondent. It allows the petitioner or their attorney to provide the sheriff with detailed information to locate and safely serve the respondent, including home, work, or other known addresses, as well as directions for service. The form also collects identifying details about the respondent, such as aliases, physical description, vehicle information, employment, history of violence, mental health or substance issues, and whether they may possess weapons.
