Description
2F-P-532 - REQUEST FOR WAIVER OF ATTENDANCE AT KIDS FIRST PROGRAM; ORDER. This form is used in the Family Court of the Second Circuit in the State of Hawai‘i for parties involved in a family court case to request exemption from attending the mandatory Kids First Program. This program is typically required for parents and children involved in family court proceedings, such as divorce or custody matters. A party may request a waiver for specific reasons, including military deployment, relocation outside Hawai‘i, incarceration, residence in a treatment facility, language barriers, mental incapacity, severe disability, or if the child involved has been adopted or placed in foster care. The form requires the requesting party to list the names of the individuals seeking the waiver, specify the reason(s) for the request, and provide additional explanation if necessary. After submission, the judge reviews the request and either approves or denies the waiver. If in-person attendance is waived, the court may still require participation in an online version of the Kids First Program. www.FormsWorkflow.com
