Description
WRIT OF EXECUTION. This is a federal court enforcement document issued by the United States District Court for the Middle District of Georgia after a money judgment has been entered. This writ commands the U.S. Marshal to locate and levy upon the judgment debtor’s goods, chattels, lands, or other property within the district to satisfy the judgment amount, plus any allowable costs. The form identifies the judgment debtor, the dollar amount to be collected, the issuing judge, and the Clerk of Court. It also includes a Return section completed by the U.S. Marshal documenting receipt and execution of the writ. A writ of execution is typically requested by the prevailing party to enforce collection when payment has not been made voluntarily. www.FormsWorkflow.com
