JD-GC-26 - ATTORNEY PERMANENT RETIREMENT WRITTEN NOTICE. This form is used by attorneys in the State of Connecticut who wish to permanently retire from the practice of law. The form must be filed with the Statewide Bar Counsel and indicates the attorney's intention to retire. Once the retirement is effective, the attorney is exempt from certain obligations, such as paying the Client Security Fund fee, complying with Minimum Continuing Legal Education requirements, and registration requirements.
