Description
RENUNCIATION OF EXECUTOR. This form is used in the Essex County Surrogate’s Court, New Jersey when an individual named as executor in a decedent’s will declines to serve. By completing this form, the nominated executor formally renounces their right to act and releases themselves from the duties and responsibilities of estate administration. The document must be signed before a Notary Public, accompanied by a copy of government-issued photo ID, and filed with Surrogate Alturrick Kenney at the Hall of Records, Room 206, Newark, NJ 07102. This renunciation allows the court to appoint an alternate executor or issue Letters of Administration C.T.A. if no successor is named. www.FormsWorkflow.com
