Is granted a one-time exception to the "no contact" and "stay away" provisions in the Criminal Protective Order (see attached copy) issued on to retrieve his/her necessary personal property. 3. Shall give this Property Retrieval Order to the law enforcement agency in the jurisdiction where the protected person resides. 4. Shall not contact the protected person or enter the protected person's residence or workplace unless accompanied by a peace officer as defined by Penal Code section 830.1 or 830.2. 5. May retrieve "necessary personal property" only. The restrained person may retrieve other property only if it is specifically listed below: (Check "none" if no other property is ordered.) None "Necessary personal property" means the restrained person's clothing, toiletries, prescribed medication, medical records, medical insurance card, driver's license or state identification card, passport, credit cards or ATM cards with the restrained person's name, checkbook and similar necessary personal items. 6. Shall obey all directives of the accompanying peace officer, who may terminate the property retrieval process at any time in the officer's discretion. THE COURT FURTHER ORDERS THAT: 7. The PEACE OFFICER who accompanies the restrained person SHALL NOT ALLOW the restrained person entry into the protected person's residence unless: a.) the peace officer advises the protected person that he/she is not required to allow the restrained person to enter or retrieve property, AND b.) the protected person consents to entry by both the peace officer and the restrained person. 8. This order expires on (specify date) . If no date is listed, this order expires 14 calendar days after it is issued.
