GPCSF Supplement 2 - APPOINTMENT OF SPECIAL PROCESS SERVER. This is a Georgia Probate Court form used when the Court determines that for the purpose of a particular proceeding, O.C.G.A. § 53-11-2 provides that a party to a probate proceeding who is not sui juris must be represented by a guardian provided that the Court may appoint a guardian ad litem or determine that the natural guardian, guardian, conservator, or testamentary guardian has no conflict and may serve. Should a guardian ad litem be necessary because a party is not sui juris, use Supplement 1. it is appropriate to appoint a special process server to better perfect service. This supplement authorizes a named individual to personally serve specified pleadings, petitions, or notices on an interested party when standard service methods may be insufficient or impractical. The form includes an order appointing the special process server, along with sections for the server’s return of service or unsuccessful service attempts.
