This is a California Superior Court (Imperial County) form used by the court to authorize alternative service of an eviction summons and complaint. Issued after a plaintiff files an application (CV-04), this order confirms that the defendant cannot be served through standard methods with reasonable diligence. It allows the summons and complaint to be posted at the rental property and requires that copies also be mailed to the defendant’s last known address.
