FORM LOB 3 - LOBBYIST EMPLOYER REGISTRATION STATEMENT. This is a Los Angeles County form required under Chapter 2.160 of the Los Angeles County Code for any person or entity, other than a lobbying firm, who employs or contracts with one or more lobbyists for economic consideration, other than reimbursement for reasonable travel expenses, for the purpose of influencing official county action must file the Lobbyist Employer Registration Statement (Form LOB 3). Registration must be filed within 10 days of becoming a lobbyist employer. The form requires disclosure of employer information, responsible officer details, in-house lobbyists (with Form LOB 4 certification), and any lobbying firms retained. A $75 registration fee applies if filed January 1–September 30 ($56 if filed October 1–December 31). Amendments must be filed within 10 days of any change using Form LOB 5.
