LASC FAM 014 - REQUEST FOR TRIAL SETTING FAMILY LAW. This is a Los Angeles Superior Court form used to request that a family law case be set for trial. By filing this form, a party represents that the case is ready for trial and identifies the issues to be tried, such as dissolution, nullity, legal separation, paternity, custody, visitation, child support, spousal support, property division, or attorney’s fees. The form requires a trial time estimate and lists all attorneys or self-represented parties. If custody or visitation is at issue, mediation is required under Family Code § 3170 before or concurrently with the hearing. A proof of service by mail must be completed and filed.
