Description
701 - ARTICLES OF ORGANIZATION (For use by Domestic Professional Service Limited Liability Companies). This form is used in Michigan to legally establish a professional limited liability company (PLLC) under Act 23, Public Acts of 1993. This type of LLC is specifically for licensed professionals such as doctors, dentists, attorneys, clergy, or other service providers whose work requires professional licensing. The form requires essential information including the company’s official name (which must include “Professional Limited Liability Company” or an approved abbreviation), the specific professional services the company will provide, its duration if not perpetual, the name and address of its resident agent and registered office in Michigan, and confirmation that all members and managers are duly licensed or legally authorized to render the designated professional services. Additional provisions can be included if desired. Once signed by the organizer(s) and filed with the Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs along with the required fee, the PLLC becomes a legally recognized entity authorized to conduct professional services in Michigan while providing liability protection to its members. www.FormsWorkflow.com
