ATJ 404.4 - EMERGENCY ORDER OF PROTECTION. This Illinois form is used in circuit court to request and issue immediate, short-term protection for a petitioner and other listed protected persons from a respondent who has allegedly committed abuse. It captures case and party information; identifies all people to be protected (including minors, dependent or high-risk adults, and household members); sets the order’s effective dates and the next court hearing; and provides options for how the hearing will be attended (in person or remotely).
