This form is used by Courts to establish the qualifications of a temporary interpreter for the proceeding listed below. Under California Rules of Court, rule 2.893, if a certified or registered interpreter is unavailable, a temporary interpreter may be used for a single, brief, routine matter before the court to prevent burdensome delay or in other unusual circumstances.
