Description
AOC-CVR-14 - REVOCATION ORDER FOR PROVISIONAL LICENSE WHEN PERSON NOT PRESENT. This form is used in the State of North Carolina to revoke the driving privileges of a provisional license holder who is not present in court. It applies when a person under the age of 18, holding a limited learner’s permit, limited provisional license, or full provisional license, has been charged with a criminal moving violation. The clerk of court must first find probable cause that the person committed the offense, holds a provisional license, and is not currently under a civil license revocation. If these conditions are met, the court orders that the individual’s driving privileges be revoked for a minimum of 30 days. The revocation begins at 12:01 a.m. on a specified date and becomes effective four days after the court mails the order. The person is not required to surrender their license but is prohibited from driving for any reason during the revocation period and is not eligible for a limited driving privilege. The form also informs the individual of their right to request a hearing to challenge the revocation, which must be filed within 10 days. The license will automatically become valid again at the end of the revocation period unless revoked for another reason by the court or DMV. G.S. 20-13.3. www.FormsWorkflow.com
