Description

PCT/SISA/504, INVITATION TO FURNISH NUCLEOTIDE AND/OR AMINO ACID SEQUENCE LISTING AND TO PAY, WHERE APPLICABLE, LATE FURNISHING FEE (PCT Rules 13ter.1(a) to (d) and 45bis.5(c) and Administrative Instructions, Section 208 and Annex C). This is an invitation issued by an International Searching Authority (ISA) or International Preliminary Examining Authority (IPEA) in the context of a Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) application. This invitation requests the applicant to furnish a nucleotide and/or amino acid sequence listing in the prescribed electronic format and pay any applicable fees, including a late furnishing fee if the sequence listing is not provided within the prescribed time limit. PCT Rules 13ter.1(a) to (d) and 45bis.5(c) are related to the submission of a nucleotide and/or amino acid sequence listing in the context of a Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) application. These rules provide that if the international application contains a nucleotide and/or amino acid sequence, the applicant must furnish a sequence listing in electronic form complying with the prescribed standard, and that the sequence listing must be filed with the competent International Searching Authority (ISA) or International Preliminary Examining Authority (IPEA), as applicable, within a certain time limit. Administrative Instructions, Section 208 and Annex C provide further guidance on the preparation and submission of the sequence listing. These instructions specify the format and content requirements for the sequence listing, and provide detailed technical information on the preparation of the sequence listing in XML format. www.FormsWorkflow.com
