Any party who was present at the Arbitration Hearing, either in person or by counsel, may reject the Arbitration Award by strictly complying with the following provisions of Illinois Supreme Court Rule 93. Within 30 days after the filing of an Arbitration Award, a party who rejects the Arbitration Award must: 1. File a Notice of Rejection with the Clerk of the Circuit Court, together with a certificate of service that the Notice of Rejection has been served on all other parties to the action. 2. Send a Copy of the Notice of Rejection to all other parties to the action. 3. Pay a $200.00 Rejection fee to the Clerk of the Circuit Court for award amounts of $30,000 or less or $500.00 Rejection fee if the award amount is greater than $30,000.00.
