70.140 Trover; Damages; Property and Hire; Valuation Date If the plaintiff in an action in trover should elect to take a verdict for the value of the property at the time of conversion, with hire of the same from that date, and the property is of a character that hire may be recovered, you may return such a verdict, but the allowance of hire is in your discretion. If allowed, the same shall be added to the value of the property and the verdict White v. Dalton, 55 Ga. App. 768 (1937) Youngblood v. Ruis, 96 Ga. App. 290, 294 (1957)
