General FAQs
| Q: | What does it mean when I get "you have performed an illegal operation" and then my computer shuts down or freezes on me? |
| A: |
This is a problem with the software on your computer. The most likely reason for getting this message when visiting our site is that your browser version needs to be updated. Please contact your browser provider, an updated free version should be available.
|
| Q: | Which browser works better with your service, Internet Explorer or Netscape? |
| A: |
Internet Explorer and Internet Tools is the best browser to use on our service. This is because Netscape does not support many coding tags used for the web pages and for the forms.
|
| Q: | Do the forms on the web site have an auto-population feature? |
| A: |
We offer two proprietary features that auto-populate forms for you from data that is saved - AutoFill and Browser Bypass. They are similar, but work in slightly different ways. A Premium Subscription is required to access interactive forms and to get these features. For a thorough demonstration of these features, please go through our Tutorial or read the AutoFill Help file. |
| Q: | Does your web site allow me to e-file now? |
| A: |
Our website is prepared technically to handle e-filing when the courts are ready to implement the system. We offer forms in XML format to enable this function, but infrastructure outside of our control remains the problem.
|
| Q: | How soon are updates posted? |
| A: |
Since we have ongoing relationships with most of the courts, we receive and post the non-interactive version when the change becomes effective. Within a few weeks, the fill-able formats of the form updates are then placed on the website for use.
