Secs. 30-6, 30-10 STATE OF CONNECTICUT SUPERIOR COURT JUVENILE MATTERS www.jud.ct.gov To: The Judicial Authority of the State of Connecticut: Address of Court Name and address of minor child Address at which child is living Date of birth Docket number Probation officer Date of delinquency petition Application The undersigned respectfully requests that the above-named minor child be placed immediately in Juvenile Detention because there is probable cause to believe that the child is responsible for the act or acts alleged in the petition of delinquency dated above, a verified copy of which is attached hereto and there is no less restrictive alternative available. Further, the circumstance(s) indicated below are applicable (At least one box must be checked): A. There is a strong probability that the child will run away prior to the court hearing or disposition. B. There is a strong probability that the child will commit or attempt to commit other offenses injurious to the child or the community before court disposition. C. There is probable cause to believe that the child's continued residence in the home pending disposition poses a risk to the child or the community because of the serious and dangerous nature of the act or acts set forth in the attached petition of delinquency. D. There is a need to hold the child for another jurisdiction. E. There is a need to hold the child to assure the child's appearance before the court, in view of a previous failure to respond to the court process. F. The child has violated one or more of the conditions of a suspended detention order. Therefore, in accordance with the statutes in such cases made and provided, the applicant requests that said child be remanded immediately to the care and custody of the Juvenile Detention Superintendent.
