This request must be submitted to the Liquor Control Commission by any Specially Designated Distributor (SDD) licensee who wishes to reduce the price of the liquor items listed below. Licensees may submit this request in Word format by e-mail to lccpricereduction@michigan.gov, by US mail to the address above or by fax to (517) 322-1016. Requests may include regular, value-added or discontinued items. Requests are limited to a maximum discount of 50% of the current minimum selling price, or, for discontinued items, 50% of the last minimum selling price. A licensee shall not request a reduction of the minimum selling price below $2.00 per bottle for any spirit product, regardless of the bottle's size. Licensees will be notified of the discount allowed for approved items. Licensees will also be notified of any requests for price reductions that were not approved. Notification will be sent via e-mail in word format if an e-mail address is provided on this request. Please complete all information requested on this form. Use more pages if needed. Licensees will be prohibited from ordering any item for which they have received approval for a price reduction for a period of one year.
