UNITED STATES DISTRICT COURT FOR THE DISTRICT OF COLORADO APPLICATION TO POSSESS A RECORDING DEVICE WITHIN THE OPERATIONAL SPACE OF THE COURT (Available at the Clerk's Office, 901 19th Street, Denver, Colorado or on the Court's website www.cod.uscourts.gov) Pursuant to D.C.COLO.LCivR 83.1and D.C.COLO.LCrR 57.3, I am stating that I am a member of the bar of this court. As a member of the bar of the court, I am seeking an exemption from those sections of D.C.COLO.LCivR 83.1 and D.C.COLO.LCrR 57.3 that prohibit the possession of an audio, video, or photographic recording device, other than a camera, while inside a facility in which the business of the court is being conducted. I understand that once granted such an exemption, I remain subject to those sections of each rule that prohibit the use of an audio, video, or photographic recording device, or the recording function of any device, regardless of the technology used, within my possession. I further understand that in order for me to enter and to possess within a facility conducting the business of the court any device that contains an audio, video, or photographic function, I must first present an authorized bar card of the court to those personnel designated by the court to provide court security.
