I am the Petitioner and make this Affidavit to show circumstances why service by publication was used, and to show how service by publication was done, as authorized by the Arizona Rules of Civil Procedure (ARCP). Pursuant to ARCP 4.1(n) and 4.2(f), I allege that service by publication is the best means to give notice of this court case to the Respondent because the Respondent is: Avoiding service of process, and I have mailed, postage prepaid, a copy of the Summons, the Petition for Dissolution, and other required papers to the last known address of the Respondent on or before the first date of publication, OR Respondent is a person whose residence is unknown, so I have not mailed copies of the proceedings to the Respondent. 3. The residence and whereabouts of the Respondent is unknown to the Petitioner, even though the Petitioner has made a diligent search to find out. This search failed to reveal any information that might lead to knowledge about the Respondent's residence or whereabouts.
