The maximum amount that may be withheld in any period pursuant to this Notice and any other garnishment is fifty percent (50%) of net income after deducting any amount required by law to be deducted such as taxes, retirement, and union dues. If you are paying workers compensation benefits to Obligor, you must pay him at least $100.00 per week pursuant to NMSA 1978 Section 52-1-52. You are required by law (Support Enforcement Act NMSA 1978, Section 40-4A-4.1) to do the following: A. You must begin this withholding no later than the next regular payment to Obligor that occurs 14 days following service of this Notice. B. You must notify the Child Support Enforcement Division at the address above within a reasonable time after you are no longer paying income to this obligor, and inform the Obligee and the Child Support Enforcement Division of the last known address of the obligor and subsequent income provider, if known. C. You must report to the Child Support Enforcement Division the effective date for each withholding of income. The notification of this date of withholding must accompany the payment to the Child Support Enforcement Division. D. You must change or stop withholding within 14 days of receipt of a copy of any Notice to Terminate or Modify Withholding which has been filed with the Court and initialed by the Clerk (i.e., a conformed copy). E. Withholding of income for child support has priority over any other legal process attaching income in this state. F. Failure to comply with the terms of this Notice to Withhold Income will subject you to liability for payment of the amount that you wrongfully failed to withhold. G This Notice is binding on subsequent income providers upon knowledge of its contents or receipt, by personal delivery or certified mail, of a filed copy of the Notice. <<<<<<<<<********>>>>>>>>>>>>> 3 H.
