Costs incurred in criminal proceedings, including hearings to determine competency to stand trial, are excluded from coverage under Rule 15, and are regulated under other rules and statutes. 2. Mental evaluations at hospitals, treatment resources or community health centers ordered by the judge in judicial proceedings under Chapters 3-8 of Title 33, excluding those evaluations conducted in criminal proceedings, are part of the services performed for the State of Tennessee and its citizens, and will not be compensated under this Rule. 3. Court costs for clerk services shall be taxed pursuant to T.C.A. 8-21-104 and 8-21-401 (2001 Supp.) and shall be listed in the appropriate category of Form JH-C1.
