IN THE CIRCUIT COURT OF THE SIXTEENTH JUDICIAL CIRCUIT KANE COUNTY , ILLINOIS Case No. Plaintiff/Petitioner Defendant/Respondent File Stamp PETITION TO TERMINATE CHILD SUPPORT DUE TO EMANCIPATION OF CHILD The Plaintiff Defendant now comes and petitions the court to terminate child support d ue to the emancipation of the child, and in support of said motion, states as foll ows: 1. That on a Judgment of Dissolution of Marriage was entered, and the Judgment provided the following: that the Plaintiff Defendant Parties was/were granted sole custody/joint custody of the minor child(ren) of the parties; that the Plaintiff Defendant was ordered to pay child support in the amount of $ per week bi-weekly month twice a month other for the support of minor child(ren); 2. That since the entry of the judgment, there has been the following subst antial change in circumstances, in that the following child(ren), with the following date(s) of birth, have become emancipated: Child Date of Birth Child Date of Birth 3. That there are not any remaining child(ren) under the age of 18 are remaining child(ren) under the age of 18, and the name(s) and da te(s) of birth is/are as follows: Child Date of Birth Child Date of BirthWHEREFORE , the Plaintiff Defendant prays that this Honorable Court orders as follows: That the Judgment for Dissolution of Marriage be modified to terminate t he child support for the child/children listed above; That the appropriate child support be set for the remaining minor child/ children; For such other and further relief as this Court deems just and equitable .
