The rectification may be stated in a letter. The applicant may choose either of the two possibilities described above. ATTENTION No rectification will be made without the express authorization of the competent authority indicated above and, in order to be effective, the authorization by that authority must reach the International Bureau, or be given by the International Bureau, as the case may be, before the completion of the technical preparations for international publication (Rule 91.1(g) to (g-quater)).
