Name of Business Trust: The name of a business trust formed pursuant to the provisions of NRS 88A must contain the words Business Trust or th e abbreviation B.T. or BT. The na me must be distinguishable from the names of corporations, limited liability companies, limited pa rtnerships, limited-liability limited partnership or limited- liability partnerships on file in the office of the Secretary of State. A name may be reserved, if available, for 90 days by submitting a name reservation form with a $25.00 filin g fee. Resident Agent: Persons wishing to from a Business Trust in the State of Nevada must designate a person as a resident agent who resides or is located in this state. Ever y resident agent must have a street address in this state for the service of process. 3. State the name and post office box or street address, ei ther residence or business of at least one trustee. Use an additional 8 x 11 white sheet if more than 2 trustees are to be listed. 4. Names and addresses of the persons forming the business trust are required. Each person forming the business trust must sign the certificate. Additional 8 x 11 white sh eet will be necessary if more than 2 persons are forming the business trust. 5. Resident agent must complete and sign certificate of acceptance at bottom of form or attach a separate signed certificate of acceptance. 6. Additional information that is part of the certificate ma y be stated on a separate 8 x 11 white sheet. This is an optional provision. ***IMPORTANT*** INITIAL LIST OF TRUSTEES: Pursuant to NRS 88A.600, each business trust organized under the laws of this state shall, on or before the last day of the first month after the filing of its certificate of business trust, and annually thereafter, file its list of trustees and resident agent. The initial list fee is $125.00. Forms will be mailed to you upon the filing of your certificate and annually thereafter to the entitys resident agent. COPIES: You must send in the number of copies you would like certified and returned to you in addition to the original article to be filed. A fee of $30.00 for each certification is required. Copies received without the required fee shall be returned uncertified. It is recommended that a business trust receive at least one certified copy to be kept in the office of the resident agent. The Secretary of State keeps the original filing. FILING FEE: Filing fee for a certificate of business trust is $75.00. Certificates received without the appropriate fees will be returned unfiled. Filing may be expedited for an additional $125.00 expedite fee.
