The Court will be notified of the confidential intermediary designee assigned through the filing of the Oath or Affirmation of Confidentiality and by the notation of the confidential intermediary designee below. The appointed confidential intermediary is authorized to inspect confidential relinquishment, termination, and adoption records in this Court, other courts, and any public or private hospitals, maternity homes, adoption agencies, and state or public agencies that have information concerning this case. Such appointment extends for 270 days from the date of designation of the confidential intermediary. The confidential intermediary shall file a "Consent Release or Refusal" or the Intermediary's Investigation File with the Court within 270 days of designation unless an application is made to the Court for an extension of time for good cause.
