You must draft your own articles on plain bond paper to be submitted in duplicate original (Each document must have an original signature). ALSO: A signed statement of the registered agent's consent (executed in duplicate) must be attached to your articles. DOMESTICATED CORPORATION ARTICLES OF INCORPORATION OF (NAME OF CORPORATION) DEPARTMENT OF CONSUMER AND REGULATORY AFFAIRS BUSINESS REGULATION ADMINISTRATION CORPORATIONS DIVISION TO: I/WE, the undersigned natural person(s) of the age of eighteen years or more acting as domesticator(s) of a foreign corporation existing under the BUSINESS CORPORATION ACT (D.C. Code, 2001 edition, Title 29, Chapter 1), adopt the following Articles of Domestication: FIRST: The name of the corporation is (NAME OF CORPORATION). SECOND: The period for which, upon domestication, the corporation is to exist, if not perpetual is: THIRD: State that upon domestication the corporation will be subject to the domestic corporation provision of the Business Corporation Act, and, if desired, a brief statement of the purpose or purposes for which it is to be domesticated which shall be a purpose or purposes for which a domestic corporation may be incorporated under this Act and which may consist of or include a statement that the corporation shall have limited power to engage in and to do any lawful act concerning any or all lawful business for which corporations may be incorporated under the Business Corporation Act. FOURTH: State any provisions relating to the manner and basis of reclassifying the shares of the corporation. If there are no such provisions, state the same.
