For Clerk's Use Only IN THE SUPERIOR COURT OF THE STATE OF ARIZONA IN AND FOR THE COUNTY OF MOHAVE CASE NO. ______________________________ NOTICE OF REQUIREMENT TO ATTEND PARENT EDUCATION CLASSES It is appearing from the pleadings filed that minor children are involved in this matter. This matter is referred to Conciliation Court Services. The parties are directed to participate in the mandatory Parent Education Program established by the Arizona Supreme Court, and each party is ordered to pay to the Clerk of the Superior Court the sum of $50.00 to cover the cost of such program (A.R.S. ยง25-351). If you are the Petitioner, your fee has been paid with your filing fee. If you are the Respondent and have not responded, you must pay the fee prior to attending any proceedings at Conciliation Court Services. PAYMENT OF THE $50.00 PARENT EDUCATION FEE DOES NOT CONSTITUTE AN APPEARANCE IN THE CASE. No classes will be scheduled until the Petitioner has filed with the Court the Proof of Service of the Domestic Relation papers. Each party will be notified by the Mohave County Mediation Center when you are to appear for classes. The parties are directed to participate and cooperate fully with the Conciliation Coordinator in the class. If either party resides outside the State of Arizona, that parent will be responsible for obtaining proof of attendance at a Parent Education program in his or her area, and will not pay the $50.00 to Mohave County or will have to submit documentation to the Court that such education is not a requirement of their jurisdiction.
