MELROSE DR., SUITE 130,VISTA, CA 92081 SOUTH COUNTY DIVISION, 500 3RD AVE., CHULA VISTA, CA 91910 IN THE MATTER OF DATE OF BIRTH A MINOR CASE NUMBER STIPULATION REGARDING INSPECTION, COPYING AND NON-DISSEMINATION OF JUVENILE RECORDS WITHOUT COURT ORDER This stipulation is intended for use in those cases where, pursuant to California Welfare & Institutions Code § 827 and California Rules of Court, rule 5.552, certain persons are permitted to inspect or inspect and copy juvenile case files without a court order. Pursuant to Welf. & Inst. Code § 827 and Cal. Rules of Court, rule 5.552: The "Requestor" signing below has asked to inspect and receive copies of records of the above-referenced minor. Requestor acknowledges and agrees that juvenile case file records are confidential (Cal. Const., Art. I, § 1; Welf. & Inst. Code § 827) and agrees to the following: 1. Requestor will not provide copies of juvenile case file records, or any information obtained from them, to any other person unless that other person is also entitled to the copies or information pursuant to Welf. & Inst. Code § 827. 2. All records and information obtained shall be used only in connection with a related case, if any, and shall not be disseminated or used for any other purpose. 3. No records or information obtained shall be made part of any other court file that is open to the public, unless by court order or as allowed by law. In addition, if it is necessary that any records or information become part of a court or other public agency file that is open to the public, such material shall be maintained in a separate sealed envelope, bearing the statement that the contents are Juvenile Court records and are available by judicial or administrative order only. 4. Medical, psychological, psychiatric and other records that are contained in the juvenile case file and made confidential by other federal and state laws in most instances are NOT being made available for inspection and/or copying pursuant to this stipulation. Access to such records requires a court order pursuant to the filing of a Request for Disclosure of Juvenile Case File (JC Form #JV-570). I hereby acknowledge that I understand and accept the terms as listed above.
