21711 Louisiana Alcohol & Tobacco Control 8585 Archives Ave., Suite 220 Baton Rouge, LA 70809 Message of Importance to All Applicants: The application process to receive an alcohol or tobacco permit is not an easy one. The laws that demand the applicants maintain certain qualifications make it, to many, cumbersome. However, we are committed to make the process as painless as possible. The State has 35 days to investigate and review all applications and many times the process will take the full 35 days and more, if there are any problems with the application. All problems we find, are caused from the applicants not reading and understanding that we have to have all documentation that is required. There are no exceptions. Please begin by locating the checklist furnished with the application and follow the instructions. This will assure you that we will process this application in the shortest possible time frame.
