Instruction No 1 10.03 [1983 Revision] Damages--Exemplary--Multiple Defendants When submitting against more than one defendant for punitive damages, use an appropriate instruction from Chapter 10 as a separate paragraph for each such defendant. Use the following sentence as the concluding paragraph of the punitive damage instruction: If punitive damages are assessed against more than one defendant, the amounts assessed against such defendants may be the same or they may be different.
