SDSC JUV-269 - INVESTIGATIVE SEARCH WARRANT. This San Diego Superior Court Juvenile Court form is used in child abuse and neglect investigations conducted by the Health and Human Services Agency (HHSA) – Child and Family Well-Being (CFWB). This form authorizes peace officers and/or HHSA social workers to enter and search specified locations to locate a minor, investigate allegations under Welfare and Institutions Code section 300, and determine whether protective custody is necessary. Depending on the court’s findings, the warrant may allow interviews of children and occupants, limited body inspections, photography, searches for evidence of abuse or neglect, medical or forensic examinations, forcible entry, and night service.
