CCP 1008 - NOTICE REGARDING FINAL REPORT IN INDEPENDENT ADMINISTRATION. This form is used in the Probate Division of the Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois to inform interested parties that the independent representative of a decedent’s estate has filed a Final Report as part of the process to close the estate. The form notifies recipients that if no objections are filed within 42 days of the report’s filing date, the court will discharge the independent representative and formally close the estate. Under Section 28-11(c) of the Illinois Probate Act of 1975 [755 ILCS 5/28-11(c)], the representative is required to mail or deliver this notice, along with the filed report, within 14 days of its filing to those entitled to receive it.
