Description
NOTICE OF PROBATE / PROOF OF MAILING. This form is used by the Executor of a deceased person's estate to notify all beneficiaries named in the Will, as well as all next of kin, that the Will has been admitted to probate in Atlantic County, New Jersey. This notification must be completed within 60 days from the date of probate. The Executor is responsible for filling out the Notice of Probate with the names and addresses of all relevant parties, mailing or delivering the notice to them (not requiring certified mail), and then completing a Proof of Mailing form to certify that the notifications were sent. Both the original Notice of Probate and Proof of Mailing must be filed with the Surrogate’s Office within 10 days of the mailing, along with a $10.00 filing fee. If an address for a beneficiary or next of kin is unknown, notice must be published in a local newspaper. Additionally, if a charity is named in the Will, the New Jersey Attorney General's Charitable Trust Section must also be notified. www.FormsWorkflow.com
