Description

CCP 0327 - PETITION TO ADMIT WILL AS TO OMITTED OR UNNOTIFIED PERSON. This form is used in the Probate Division of the Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois, when it is discovered that an heir or legatee was either unintentionally omitted from the original petition to admit a will to probate or was not properly notified of the will’s admission. This form allows a petitioner—typically an executor, administrator, or interested party—to comply with Section 6-11 of the Illinois Probate Act by formally requesting that the will be recognized as valid with respect to those previously omitted or unnotified individuals. The petition includes detailed information about the decedent, the admitted will, the estate’s value, and a list of all heirs and legatees (both initially notified and subsequently identified). Attached exhibits identify those originally notified (Exhibit A) and those omitted or unnotified (Exhibit B), along with their addresses and legal status (e.g., minor, disabled). The petitioner must also affirm that no personal fiduciary or guardian is currently acting for any minor or disabled heir unless specified. www.FormsWorkflow.com
