Description

CCP 0328 - ORDER ADMITTING WILL AS TO OMITTED OR UNNOTIFIED PERSON. This form is used in the Probate Division of the Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois when individuals who were entitled to notice in a probate proceeding were either unintentionally omitted from the original petition for probate of a will or were not given proper notice of the court’s original order admitting the will to probate. This order is issued upon the filing of a petition to have the will formally admitted as to those omitted or unnotified individuals. The court thereby extends the legal recognition of the decedent’s will to include these additional persons, ensuring that their rights to notice and participation in the probate process are preserved. In compliance with Sections 6-10 and 6-11 of the Illinois Probate Act of 1975 [755 ILCS 5/6-10 and 5/6-11], the representative of the estate is required to mail specific documents—including copies of the original petition, the original admission order, the new petition, and this order—to the persons identified in the attached exhibits. www.FormsWorkflow.com
