Description

DC 6:4.6 - DECREE OF DISSOLUTION (NO CHILDREN). This form is used in the Nebraska District Court to finalize a divorce for couples who do not have children together. It is based on Nebraska Revised Statute § 42-372.01 and is completed after a final hearing on the plaintiff’s Complaint for Dissolution of Marriage. The form records the court's findings, including residency requirements, jurisdiction, the date and place of the marriage, and the fact that no children are involved in the proceeding. It also confirms that the marriage is irretrievably broken, and that the couple’s personal property and debts have been equitably divided. If applicable, it allows for the restoration of a former or maiden name. The form states that the divorce becomes final and operative 30 days after entry (or upon death of a party, whichever comes first), but neither party may remarry for six months. It further specifies that each party retains their own property, is responsible for their own debts, pays their own court costs, and that no alimony is awarded. www.FormsWorkflow.com
